Not much to say, a group of a warrior a warlock and 3 shadow priests went and 5manned Loatheb in a fight that lasted ~27mins.

So much for the heavy consumables fight  (ok, the group still used heavy DPS consumables of course, but thats 5 people compared to 40, and no shadow protection potions).
Makes me wonder how many Naxxramas bosses would be 5 or 10mannable in this fashion, if they didn't have hard enrage timers (by hard enrage I mean an impossible to heal through enrage, not like Loatheb's).

In other words, next time we go in with 1 tank, 4 shadow priests, 35 dps classes and no consumables?  |

I think the whole idea of having 3 shadow priests in the group is that they do insane healing for the group via damage, so I think you might need a few more than 4 shadow priests if you intend to take 40 people |

No, the point is that 3 ubergeared shadowpriests are sufficient healing to keep the MT up indefinitely, because of how vampiric embrace circumvents the healing limitation of the fight.
Which means you can go in with about ten less healer classes, and ten more dps classes (actually since the priests are all-out-dps specced, zero healers), which in turn means you can dps loatheb down before you need to use consumables because you have a much larger dps capability. |
