I have never heard of any private trackers that are not based on keeping your ratio up. It's kind of the whole point of the system, sharing what you download.
Besides, it's really not hard to keep a 1:1 ratio, just keep your torrent client going as much as you can. |

Just a heads-up, for anyone going with public trackers, beware that the probability of getting a copyright infringing letter from your ISP (the dmca is usually sent to the isp, which will then escalate it, and send the notice to you) is greater, than going with private trackers, since these tend to be more of a closed nature... anyway my 2 cents. (This is based on personal experience)
If you don't want to seed, just get on a private tracker and donate.

As Kristiano said, if you want a decent private tracker, either expect to keep a good ratio (1.1+) or become a donor (50 bucks buys you a ratio-free account for a year or so).
But honestly, keeping a decent ratio up is very easy and the quality of decent private trackers is really worth it. |
