Over the last 24 hours my screen (both laptop AND external) have been going crazy at random times; flashing like mad, the bottom half of the screen going black and this blackness scrolling up the screen. How fucked is my graphics card? (Video below).

that is actually amazing...
Can also be a power supply issue believe it or not. Found that out a few years ago, not always the Gcard. Gcard can cause breaks, lines and dots more than full blow outs like that |

Should probably go for some Alienware, to smoothe the transition. Overpriced, and looks fancy! |

Long story short: I need a new laptop. I dont really know much about this stuff so help on these questions would be MUUUUUCH appreciated
Intel i3 v i5 v i7 - Whats ACTUALLY the noticeable difference?
Nvidea 330M 256mb v 512mb v 1024mb - Again, what difference will I notice assuming its the same card but with different amounts of dedicated memory.
Can I install Mac OS X (Snow Leopard) with relative ease on a windows based laptop and run it properly (no VM stuff).
Anyone here had a Sony VAIO F Series or any experience with one? |

In terms of processors, if you are intense user of a computer (you render videos) you will notice a huge difference in speed and quality.
graphic cards, the more the better. its the same idea as RAM, the more you want out of it in performance the higher end you want. You can really tell the difference when it comes to latest games - not old ones - wow dal loading time of all images is a good idea of this (many games use this as the top bench mark).
MC to Windows is harder than windows on Mac afaik
Old house mate had a vaio, worked a dream. Looks great too - however you kinda pay for the name |
